One People One Planet has been featured in a book “Living Your Passion”

New book features 1P1P

“Living your Passion; How Love-in-Action is Seeding a Whole New World” by Rose Diamond Rose Diamond, ex-pat Kiwi, and well-known pioneer in transformational learning, outlines and describes key elements of the journey towards a more global consciousness and the values and priorities arising in the seeds of the new culture emerging throughout the world.   In the interviews featured in this inspiring book Rose Diamond explores the thesis that New Zealand has the potential to be a truly peaceful, sustainable, and soulful nation at the forefront of the growing global desire for radical change and deeper connections.

1p1p was selected for inclusion, based on the innovativeness and potential of the organisation and its purpose; the attention the connections the Peace Pals are making and the prominence and diversity of the projects they are working

with are gaining. Along with the interview, the voice of the children is prominent throughout the book. Peace Pals in several 1p1p schools worked up a project “If I could plant a seed for a whole new world... what would the seed be and what would it grow into?” Their amazing and often-times revolutionary projects are featured throughout the book (and some in this newsletter) - accentuated by comments from teachers: Barb Dysart, Deputy Principal Summerland School; Stephen Gordon, Associate Principal Sunnybrae Normal School; Vikki Rihari, Teacher, Henderson North School and Jenny Sinclair, Teacher, Kaiapoi Borough School - along with comments from the Kaiapoi 2008 Peace Pals. Bob Harvey, Mayor of Waitakere City (a Peace City), Chairperson of The Peace Foundation, and Chairperson 1p1p Advisory Group wrote the foreword.
